It has been awhile since you last saw her,
When your mum and dad was not at home and you came to her when you needed help.
You lived across town, You should have visited it's not like she lived in Rome, a place 1100 miles away.
She lived alone and you was just a stone throw away the day before she departed.
When she left everything changed when the day mum told you that she was gone and a piece of you departed.
You became empty within and you never liked to share even though there was plenty to share. Eventually, You've realised it's not fair that you are selfish. Thinking to yourself that what are you going to do when you need her ...…...
The day of the funeral you were surrounded by a few familiar faces whilst the rest were strangers. you looked around and you felt alone, you walked away and you got a Burger and chips. The burger and Chips did not full the emptiness and aloneness within so you walked home. The time was going fast the Roman numerical clock outside resembles the past. The digital clock represents the present as you walked past the peasants fighting the tears in your eyes and dodging glazes of others by trying to maintain normality.
The time you had to pack away the dhracs, hajib, abbiya, Perfume, shoes, clothes and everything that she owned you gave to charity. The smell of the room felt like that she has not left. you cry you stop, you cry you stop , you cry you top, you cry you stop ...….thinking to yourself in disbelief that she is gone. she is gone. she is gone. she is gone.
you cry you stop (x3)
She used to call every new Years eve. But, the last one was so quiet and empty without her.
she is gone, she is gone, she is gone, she is gone
