It was a day that I was humbled. Really made me mad and opened my eyes.. If your people are losers than what can you say? They welcome everybody to their home. Laugh when as if it is nothing when their president gets insulted

It was 2015 when Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud was president of Somalia and things looked positive for us. I was proud of our president and Mogadishu. I had a big hope that Somalia would be on the up.

So I was in Mogadishu. I met a lot of people from different parts of the country. I found out that the head of security was from Somaliland Hargeysa. He was dissing Mogadishu and the president. I was really angry but didn't say a word. He was even reppping Somaliland. Then another head of security was from Puntland, he was also insulting Mogadishu. I said to myself why aren't reer Mogadishu H family not given these key jobs but given to outsiders. That is when I noticed something was not right. You can't give postions like this to outsiders - Hassan is also to blame for this. When are we going to look after just our own?

It got worse. I had some Boroma kid insult the president in my face. But this time I threatened him and said go back to your land before you say something against Hassan in my face. This ain't Boroma.

But it got worse. I had some Jareeer guy claiming to be Biyomal insult Hassan Government because of Merca. I told him that Merca belongs to my family and he should not say bad words against Hassan. I spooked him.

This all happened in a week. Then they voted for a buuun aka Farmajoo. And look what happened.

I am humbled and my pride will never return until a kick a she-buun's face in the streets of Mogadishu. Reer Somaliland you won.

My story is the TRUTH. Would I be alive and safe if I said bad things about the president of Somaliland in Hargeysa? Or If I dissed Deni in Garoowe?

Something even more worse happened to me in Galkayo, in 2015. A Boroma kid dissed South Galkayo and praised PL. I asked myself is he mad or does he show no respect or fear. If he said anything about Aidiid then I would have beat the hell outta him.I got my limits

DarusSalaam by itself is starting to resemble pre-war Mogadishu with many Somalis leaving the diaspora to raise their children there.

Darusalaam has a lot of potential, but its too far away from Xamar and the road there is too shady. Its best for the diaspora who doesn't want the buuq of Xamar, but for a normal resident, not really the best repersentation of pre 91

Yeah, that was an exaggeration on my part.

Darus Salam is just a gated community and in order to be a real city it needs serious commerce. They should build a business district and rent it out to locals so they can sustain themselves without remittances (assuming they don't have one)
