This is from 2010 when Somaliland was not as prosperous, almost two decades later and it's not hard to imagine how they could adapt to Somali customs and grow in numbers.

Killings and abductions are not exaggerations, just look at what has been posted in this thread. Somalis are fed up and this shouldn't be swept under the rug. Idc if they are taking jobs, the issue is they are unregulated with zero security checks, basically an open boarder. These are the same oromo smugglers that leave pregnant women on the side of the road with no regard, hell on earth. The only option is to watch the boarder.

Then Somalis should direct their frustration at the Somaliland authorities and pressure them to do something. Both Djibouti and Bosaso has done something to curb it.

The Sheikh was Somali Gurgura. His clan adopted the Oromo language and ended up making a script for them.

What year has this script made for them. How did a Somali qabil become orom ? Was it forced or did the move to another region where they did trade and just learnt the language?

But what i do know is that Somalis during that time in the 70s leading up to the Ogaden war supported Oromo Muslims and supported their language development efforts through what as called Somali-Abbo who then allied with WSLF and they were even allowed them to broadcast radio in the language in the country to their own,
