The minister of humanitarian affairs and disaster management of North East state Abdirisaq Hindi accompanied by Chairman of Somalia’s National Disaster Management Authority
Mr Mahmoud Macallin Abdulle, today officially inaugurated the construction of the Emergency Relief Center and Food Storage compound in North East Regional State. The new center is being implemented by SoDMA in collaboration with the Ministry of Relief and Disaster Management of the North East Regional State, and is funded and supported by the Chinese Government. The facility is designed to serve as a center for carrying out emergency disaster relief activities and essential storage facility to respond to humanitarian situations that arise in all areas under the North East Regional State.
