I think what triggered them was the guy in the OP saying we are Africans which is true. We are the HORN OF AFRICA no less 🀣 Majority of Somalis do not speak Arabic. Being muslim =/= being arab. Living near arabs =/= being arab. This is like the Turks (who are muslim and border Arabs) saying they are Arabs, you will never hear a Turk say this. They are simply Turks. I don't see them saying they have a M18eyde83i2i3 gene and this is why they are Arabs. These twitter guys are confused diaspora children with an identity crisis and conflating numerous things with being Arab.

As much I don't like Arab begs, I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing. Being allied with Arabs gives us more people to ally with.

I don't understand why Somalis keep burning their bridges with everyone. First it was "I no black" and disassociating from black people. Now it's dissasosiating from Arabs. If we burn our bridges with everybody who will be our allies.

Black people don't like us because we insult them daily, now Arabs as well. It's not looking good.

It's true, and the truth will set us all free.

We're not Arabs, we have religion in common with the ones that are Muslim. We don't speak Arabic either. Trust me, Arabs don't care what Somalis say or do, unless we had Cadaan skin.
