Awdal was splitted from waqooyi galbeed to weaken Isaaq and sool and sanaag were splitted from the predominantly Isaaq togdheer. That's not true. Awdal, Sool, and Sanaag were independant districts [regions] during the colonial era. See the maps from 1944 and 1950. It's a common misconception that they were split or newly created from Waqooyi Galbeed and Togdheer. MSB just reversed it in 1984. And stop dreaming about something that will never happen.

You have eyes, look at gedo and hiraan in the map you posted. Just by looking can you tell which one is bigger?

Second question, look at the above map. and then look below. As a human being with eyes, do they look the same to you? Are they the same shape? Do both of these"gedos" look the same? Case closed.
