Clan warfare is about to get 10x better I hope they let SL get some too
Clan warfare is about to get 10x better I hope they let SL get some too
There needs to be a meritocracy. I know there isn’t a country in the world with a perfect meritocracy but at least there ratio of Corruption to Meritocracy is much more favourable than ours.Al shabab have many sympathisers in gov. So there would be some weapons brought to Al shabab.
On the other hand, now somalia will be flooded with weapons and drones many somali clans & the gov will be fighting Al shabab control over land.
More blood will be spilled. The issue is government, it's so primitive and weak. The men in power have no ambition.
The leadership in somalia needs to be killed off and replaced with ambitious young men ASAP if Somalia wants a future. Old farts content with being a shithole state as long as they get their pockets lined. Not to mention these politicians are dual citizens so when shit goes down they can just steal as much money as they can then dip to the west to live in luxury.
More worse more like.Clan warfare is about to get 10x better I hope they let SL get some too
Point is what you say won’t matter. The ability of the FGS to bring in heavy weaponry and aircraft will destroy FMS leverage
Also it’s lifted, it can’t be reinstated as long as we ally with one major veto power.
For example if FGS goes full dictatorship and the US wants to reinstate a UN arms embargo we can ally with Russia or China for a veto. Which is a big change in our leverage with the US
A strong SNA means stability. Back in the shogun era of medieval Japan the military kept any emperor from acting too crazy. So it’s buffer for citizens and the one who holds power alike.Bullshit, there is no trust. I ain't trusting irir till yawmul qiyamah
Delusional as niggas no arms embargo is getting lifted war on Al Shabaab has failed, FGS does not control all the ports and there has not been reconciliation, also you had the UAE at the UNSC saying The number of terrorism-related incidents in 2023 surpassed all previous quarterly since 2016.

That’s exactly my point damulshabaab has no plans for the arms embargo for other countries that went through the same shit we went through they first made peace or reconciliation then they dissolved all the FMS under a central command/government, they then disarmed all the militias whatever ones wanted to be part of the national army were sent to training camps. The central government for those countries Have a monopoly on violence and control all entries of where weapons can be entered from can you say the same for Somalia?War dadka niyadda ha kaa jabinin
Forget about everything you mentioned. Have we even decided on what entities can be legally armed? Is it only SNA and other federal forces? Will the FMS continue having state forces? What will happen with clan militias and other armed civilians or non-state entities? Who will be disarmed? And the list goes on.
With these questions unanswered, we are still aiming at removing the restrictions of arms, which if removed, will allow everyone to hands on weapons easily.
No wonder why we have people thousands of kilometers away telling, or more accurately baby watching us, that we aren't ready. And foreign navy controlling our sea to implements those measures. Sometimes, I'm grateful that they there are shisheeye who at least make better decisions than ourselves, as embarrassing as it is![]()
Divide and conquer, quite easy. FGS will have ability to offer more to one state and play them off against each other. Most FMS will be in agreement with FGS on the framework of the political structure and state building by then. With the exception of maybe SL. Once this occurs, all other political differences will be minor compared to the point of contentions today.
Moreover, we may even have moved on to 1p1v, which will reduce the powers of state leaders and instead enforce rule through (true) representatives of the public. Again, more political stability.
Though, FMS will retain leverage. If it stands between a single FMS against FGS, then the latter will get their way. But if several FMS aren't on board with FGS, then the gov't will have to negotiate or find other ways to solve differences. I don't think the FGS can threaten with 'violence' as they will not be able to battle several states at the same time. Irrespective of how powerful the armed forces are, unless they are ready to return the country to dust again.
Not a single of my predictions have failed. Tell me the conspiracy and I will respond with evidence. Some things need a bit more time but we're on the right trackThat’s exactly my point damulshabaab has no plans for the arms embargo for other countries that went through the same shit we went through they first made peace or reconciliation then they dissolved all the FMS under a central command/government, they then disarmed all the militias whatever ones wanted to be part of the national army were sent to training camps. Somalia also has no navy or air force you got foreigners patrolling our skies and sea and what ever was left of the land forces has been annihilated by shabaab through weerar or shirqool.

You said the delusional stuff signed at the NCC agreements would go into effect, Laftagareen would not be president of KGS anymore, SL would defeat SSC, galmudug and hirshabelle will be shabaab free and possibly KGS and JL. ATMIS draw down will not slow down when we both know they have just been given 90 days to stay. EU would divert there funding of ATMIS to SNA, ATMIS weapons will be given to SNA. PL will be a in a civil war due to Deni term extension. Somali will be debt free. Should I keep listing the delusional things you wrote.Divide and conquer, quite easy. FGS will have ability to offer more to one state and play them off against each other.

I said ages ago the arms embargo will be lifted 2024 Nov and it'll be relaxed heavily 2023 Nov. We will be allowed to directly purchase tanks, artillery, helicopters (and drones with select partner countries). Just not aircraft jets yet
Keep dreaming the FGS will never have a monopoly on violence, it's what got us to this point.Divide and conquer, quite easy. FGS will have ability to offer more to one state and play them off against each other.

Mashallah. Hopefully this is the first step to a stable and centralized Somalia
the gov budget is barely 1 billion and most of it is grantsThe government needs to link up more with Turkey. They have one of the most sophisticated and growing arms industries in the world. Not to mention experience fighting insurgents and isis terrorists in Syria and Iraq.
This is all true.
