The Arab Spring is Alive!!

After the UAE and Saudi backed dictator Haftar's forces were karbashed and kicked out of the Western Libya, the Arab Spring aspirations are back in Tripoli! People are celebrating their victory on the streets.

el-Sisi should be worried now. Egyptians are watching the developments in Libya. Social media is really nullifying el-Sisi's propaganda machine.

Western Libya? You mean Tripoli sxb:bell:

I'm Pro-Haftar anyways.Everyone wants Haftar because he is a unifying force and the GNC is failing Tripoli's demands.

Can I remind who defeated ISIS in Benghazi. He isn't going to go that easily warya:comeon:

Practically all of Western Libya has falled or about to fall now. Tarhuna and Bani Walid have been captured. The GNA now is moving onto Sirte and Al Jufra. So, basically all of Tripolitania region fell. To the South, the Fezzan region is switching sides too. Not too long ago Ubari and Murzuq cities declared their support for the GNA.

Haftar might be able to retain Cyrenaica region if the local tribes allow. I am hearing rumors that locals are looting Hartar forces' technicals now.

Haftar is a known CIA asset who was brought back after 20 years absence to Libya from the US in 2014. He was rejected by the Libyans from the onset. It was France that elevated him to this international status.

ISIS was created in Iraqi prisons by the CIA/ US Military and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was an inmate in there. The purpose was to create a justification to continue occupation of Iraq after Saddam was toppled.

Then ISIS was imported to Syria and the US and French forces followed.

The question is how ISIS appeared in Libya? Out of thin air?

Let's follow the trail. Iraq was destroyed, Syria was destroyed, Libya was destroyed by the West. Hmm...

How can you support Haftar when his artillery bombarded Tripoli residents for over a year?

Anyway, your boy, Haftar, yesterday announced jiha.d against the GNA. In Sirte, main Haftar backers are salafists.

I hate Salafists but the reason I support him is this.

People want an end to the civil war and Haftar is the key to that.

The people are happy in Cyrenaica because they're getting money :heh:

Keep in mind that it was Haftar that started Tripoli offensive a year ago. It was Haftar that brought in mercenaries from Russia, Sudan and Chad to destroy Tripolitania. It is not something that ordinary Libyans support. In Bani Walid there were huge frictions when the locals saw so many Russian mercenaries fleeing Tripoli. The LNA (Haftar forces) had to tack their tails and run for their lives from Bani Walid because the locals were about to exact justice on them.

Ir wasn't like Tripoli-based GNA forces went to the east and started killing civilians. It was the LNA that came from the east to Tripoli and started killing people for over a year.

Libya is a costal city state. Over 90% of Libya is desert. People mostly live in coastal towns and cities. Tripolitania region accounts for about 80% of the total Libyan population. Haftar is a toast after failing to capture Tripoli.

The war is poised to stop. Turkey turned the Libyan war upside down. Emirates made a huge mistake by inviting and financing the Russian Wagner group to Libya which is just a front for the Russian military. The US is pissed at the UAE as there is now a new geopolitical dimension. This is from the US Africa Command:

“If Russia seizes basing on Libya’s coast, the next logical step is they deploy permanent long-range anti-access, area-denial capabilities,” he said. “If that day comes, it will create very real security concerns on Europe’s southern flank.”

The UAE is in "I am sorry" mode and playing "I am actually still a virgin" game. The things got so ridiculous that the US AirForce is now making cargo flights from the Turkish controlled Mitiga airport in Libya.

The American goal is wrap up the war as soon as possible and deny access to Russia to get a permanent foothold in Libya. They learned a very bitter lesson in Syria when they allowed Russia to move in. The US has already chosen the GNA. That's why Haftar is going to be written off soon as an old junk.

Russia is now demanding Turkey to share its drone and electronic jamming technologies in exchange for its own S-400 air defense technology transfer. It has already invited Turkey to participate in the development and production of the SU-57 fifth generation stealth fighter. Turkey is developing its own TAI T-FX stealth air superiority fighter and doubled down on it after the US kicked Turkey out of the F-35 programme. I think Russia really wants to merge the SU-57 and the TAI T-FX projects into one.

There is a really weird situation among the US, Russia and Turkey at the moment. By the way, all three of them divided Syria among themselves. Russia is expanding its airbase in Latakia, Syria at the moment.

I hope Turkey drags Somalia into its orbit more.

That's not a good thing if the Arab spring comes back Somalia is very prone to becoming a victim of a proxy war.
While we are digging up each others graves to make a pointless point, Somalia is already being used in the global posturing. The following is from the above article:

"The U.S. Air Force has recently worked to send its own messages to Russia and China in Africa, including with the flight of a nuclear-capable B-52 over the Somali coast. "

Somalia is literally useless and meaningless in these games. Other than another name in an alliance its geopolitical role is completely nominal.

To those who claim that the Tripoli government is affiliated with jıhadi groups:
Salafis together with the Haftar forces are fleeing to the east (Benghazi) from the advancing GNA (Tripoli) forces. It just proves that Haftar and jıhadis were working together:

Lol there are "salafis" on both sides. Heftar is backed by pro Saudi, previously quietist "madkhali" types, whereas Tripoli has the backing of MB-esque Islamists

Yeah, but if you read media, they portray events as if Haftar is fighting jıhadi terrorists and he is needed for the war with terror. When in reality, Haftar is awash with militant Islamists.
