Turns out he was actually from Cameroon:

The Beninese historian Dieudonné Gnammankou, an expert on Russia, studied Russian, French and African sources and argued that Gannibal was indeed from Logone-Birni and was most likely the son of a chief in the ancient sultanate. In 1995, Gnammankou asserted that the "Logon" Gannibal wrote about was actually Logone, capital of the old Kotoko kingdom of Logone-Birni, now located in northern Cameroon.

Gnammankou's findings were in turn buttressed by the field work of Hugh Barnes. After consulting with the Sultan of Logone-Birni, Barnes found that an inscription on Gannibal's crest, which was hitherto undecipherable, corresponded with the term for "homeland" in the local Kotoko language of central Africa.

East Africans from Somalia and Ethiopia have 40 to 80% caucasian DNA. Some groups are higher like the Beja who have 95% caucasian yDNA.

Stop using these silly craniofacial terms for genetics. They don't belong together. Not all the components that make up "West-Eurasian" even looked "Caucasoid". Also, not one single group or person in the Horn is 80% "Caucasoid". The range for MENA ancestry is 45-60% or so. The range for true Eurasian is like 40-50%. And even in Sudan you'll be hard pressed to find anyone below 20% SSA. Most are at least 30% or more and great many are even comparable to Somalis and Habeshas.
