The afghan army was so unprofessional

Rhodesia would have been destroyed if they fought a half decent military.

They were fighting oppressed people and had the advantage in weaponry, training and equipment.
Bro rhodesia was sanctioned, couldn't get arm's from the international market, only south Africa helped them to a extent. While the other side got mass weapons from the soviets & china. What gave them the decisive edge was the fireforce tactics and the incredible helicopters like the k-car and g-cars to help fight back the insurgents.

The Taliban wouldn't have captured most of the country if the Americans had not removed their logistical support and Air force experts [mechanics/engineers] for the Afghan Air force.

Complete Air superiority over the Taliban would've been the deciding factor in this war.

I don’t know about that the taliban literally infiltrated the army they’ve had guys enrol into the army and then after a while their guys would blow themselves up killing western soldiers who were teaching the afghan army

The main problem was the Americans forced
The afghan government to buy blackhawks, instead of allowing them to buy mi-17 or other Russian helicopters which would've been more easier for them to maintain instead of calling for American contractors. Once the Americans got out, the afghan armed force's couldn't function. That why you should build your armed forces for self sufficiency instead of foreign governments to maintain your arms.
