Islam still requires you to follow proper procedures to divorce, you think just saying here’s your talaq is the right way?

Divorce is handle in a civil way in Islam. The wife still lives with the husband and life goes on as usual and they are only divorced after she has completed the Iddah and they have not been intimate in that time.
