The Somali govt is fighting Terrorism with war and financial methods, but it's the idea they need to fight also. Somalia is high with ignorance and ripe for any manipulation or cash cow pyramid scheme disguised under religion. That's why foreign nations when they want to destroy a people, they love to create conditions where that nation is in an un-resolvable civil war but they can't achieve that on their own and find locals who have their own 'agenda usually financial' and merge their local and foreign interests. When a nation remains in this vacuum, ignorance rises, life span declines, infant mortality rises, hunger is rife. This is the conditions they want so those ppl enter a slow yet managable extinction process.
Terrorists is now a by-product of this vacuum, even tho they attempted to trojan itself during Siyad Barre era thru 'religious jambal', but fortunately we had a govt that dealt with them, this infuriated them and they went underground and worked 'silently' on clan conflicts cause they saw 'clan' could get them their outcome of a vacuum lol not cause they really believe in it but it's a 'means' for them.
Terrorists have a faulty understanding of Islam and think they can use force or use violence to establish an Islamic state or Caliphate. Horta you can't even nationalize Islam, Islamic-Fascism has no foundation in Islamic concept, if u want an Islamic state, the rules are clear, it has to be all muslims of all sects/flavor in 1 entity just like the prophet did and 4 early caliphs. if it lacks that character it's only a 'caliphate' in name with ulterior purposes.
A caliphate is only predicted to be created by a messiah or mahdi sent by god and he will unify the Islamic world thru their own free will and peacefully. The keyword is sent by god and peacefully/free will, plus muslims will call him the mahdi not himself as you see with terrorists, if he calls himself a 'mahdi' he is automatically a 'khawarij' it's the muslims who can honor you with that title NOT YOURSELF.
