Teaching your daughter the hijab

I feel like Somali parents like to teach their daughters the hijab when they’re babies, which is pretty bad imo.

Islamiclly, you’re supposed to encourage your daughters to wear hijab at the age of 7, and you’re supposed to teach them the significance of the hijab and why it’s important, but it’s optional for them to wear it.

However, when your daughter reached the age of puberty/age of 15ish, she has to wear the hijab. It becomes fardh (not optional).

For those who say Hijab is optional, you’re 101% right, it is optional. Same way drinking alcohol is your choice, same way Zina is choice etc etc. Its optional but you’re sinning if you disobey allah.

that’s my take on it, what about you guys?
