It's understandable if she was a bit older and was actually I'm Djibouti. Many habesha in the city centre do work as prostitutes and maids. No clue about the Arabs that live here, they just chill and sell fish. I remeber going to the street with my hooyo and this cadaan french owned bakery where I used to buy cakes a couple years back so there's that.
Afars do their own thing and are essentially just off brand somali, you won't find anything too different with them aside from being shorter and speaking a different language which is really similar.
Somalis have no buisness in the degen prostitute scene. Somalis in Djibouti are no different than those in dir dhaba or zelia. We are Muslim, speak Somali as first language only. French is only used in school and goverment since we need to acomidage afar who constantly complain about a Somali/Ciise dominated country which is kinda true we rule the place lmao. There are some westernised spots filled with rich and foreigners. I went to a all cadaan American school when I was there for summer months once. The cadaan teachers spoke fluent somali and got on well with local somali including one of em being friends with my uncle who used to pick me up and have a full blown convo in af-somali with this white American guy.

Only a handful warya. Christian Ethiopians, especially habasha are known to work as prostitutes all over easy Africa. You will even find them on Kenya. Nearly all of the "workers" in Djibouti are the Xabashi. Somali women are not involved in this buisness, that's left for the ethnics.
