taliban are maturidis. qaeda are salafi wahhabis mixed with ikhwanism. the ikhwanism is why they dont clash with asharis and maturidis.

also the sufism under the taliban isnt as crazy as the somali qadiria. the qadiria had the dervish salihia sufis as a counter balance. but today they dont. salafi wahhabis filled the void in refuting them.

Yeah, the video he posted actually supports your claim. Sufism is very broad, and I wouldn’t say the most ghuluw sects are the best representation, but they need to be kept in check, hence Salafism to show what is actually in the Sunnah.
