That's just not how it works. They are not "just interpretations". There are correct interpretations and there are incorrect interpretations. If the consensus of scholars over the course of 1400 years all came to the same conclusion as to what the words of the Quran mean, then this is the correct interpretation. All of these scholars came from different cultures and time periods, what else would their shared interpretation be based on except the obvious and apparent meaning of the verse in question?

Islamic scholars have been studying this tradition their whole lives, have went through formal training, and have certifications/degrees.

If I had a medical problem and had to choose between two options: taking your advice or taking the advice of the consensus of trained medical specialists, I would obviously choose the latter because the medical specialists actually know what they are talking about here. I would not dismiss the consensus of trained professionals as simply an "interpretation" that is "influenced by underlying beliefs and ideas".

But even if we took a moment to "think for ourselves" here and consider your "interpretation", it still wouldn't make sense.
