I don’t think this guy understands the article. You’re just hopping on to the “Sharia bad” train. Everything the Taliban due is also done in Somalia if you went back to Somalia you would know that every school and dugsi has corporal punishment, You would also known that men and women are also separated so just as in Afghanistan Women Teachers can’t teach Boys in Somalia. I think you forget that Somalia even under the taghut FGS is an Islamic Society; Many diaspora fear Al Shabaab because they think their western mores and values are threatened not realizing that most Somalis are traditional and religious. This same company was complaining when the Taliban banned Opium production so I would take what they write with a grain of Salt. Imagine if some western newspaper was complaining if Somalia banned Khat because some people would lose their livelihoods. The damage drugs like khat and opium cause are far worse than the livelihoods that may be lost.​

1. Structurally reform into a political governing body. Transforming Afghanistan into a 1 party state and pushing for economic growth. This of course comes with the fact that they must stop being a home for any terrorist organizations and work to get rid of those that are already in their nation.

2. Continue as the prime hub of terrorism and live as a transit zone for China Russia ambitions to form a new silk road. Essentially become a client of the east. Of course leaving IsIs running around in their back yard will bring danger to their neighbors and this can cause issues for them. Sooner or later Iran or Pakistan may have to take action.
