They need to overrun these langaabs asap and hopefully Afghans finally get peace from decades of wars. Taliban need to be just this time to everyone and never allow foreign groups to operate in Afghanistan

waa xoolo who haven't learned their lessons if they allow this
afghanistan has been unstable since 1973. tajikistan turkmenistan uzbekistan are russias backyard and putin isnt interested in fighting them unless they cross into his backyard. the border with china is tiny. so china cant really invade.

They are landlocked and need to be at peace with its neighbors. The biggest winner in the Taliban takeover is Pakistan. The secular Afgan governments tend to be anti Pakistan and pro India.

russian imperialism is restricted to their backyard (former soviet republics or satellite states). baltic states and poland running to nato was smart. but china is trying to flex her muscles so they gotta tread carefully when dealing with them.

The biggest threat to Taliban rule in Afghanistan is themselves. There could be a power struggle between the Taliban leadership (like the power struggle in the USC leadership after the ousting of Siad Barre) and it could result in a full blown civil war in Afghanistan.

If the taliban ever needs to bring afghanistan to enforced peace, they need to deal with these corrupt tajiks who just want more wars and strife.
