Yes , in SA the infrastructure was prior during the Apartheid era , many are run down thanks to mismanagement and low maintenance. There are Black architects , designers and city planners that have constructed highways , bridges and wonderful construction but they can never outmatch the cadaans. Even if they did , they are least likely to consider maintaining , take example the deteriorated rail lines in some areas , it's rusty and the steels need to be rearranged.
You have fancy Skyscrapers , first world CBD affluent areas and townships

A world of contrasts


In Botswana it's different , they hire European and Chinese contract workers and have built several landscapes. They are the very least corrupt nation on the continent. There are many blacks experimenting projects unlike SA.

I wish we Somalis can learn thing or two from them.
