Taiwan is using two US congressmen to pressure the FGS to withdraw the travel ban. The congressmen said there will be “severe retaliatory consequences” such as a freeze on bilateral aid, suspension of all US visa issuances to Somali nationals, closure of Somalia’s embassy in Washington, etc. Do you guys think this will materialise, or will the FGS just remove the passport ban?

Who told you two congressmen can do this? That's 2 out of 435. This is useless show boating so they can keep getting Taiwanese PAC funding. Also why would American retailate against Somalia for denying Taiwanese to transit throught the country. Nobody transits or vists Somalia from that country to begin with. They won't do all of that just for a symbolic act from a dying government intent on getting every penny and dime they can steal (in this case they're getting paid by china most likely)
