I have this white dude at work who for the last year trying to learn Somali. He is struggling with subax wanaagsan iyo galab wanagsan. In a year this slow fvck has learned 5 phrases that he can barely pronounce and this guy speak better Somali than all my cousins born in Uk. Cajeeb

My parents only spoke somali to me from nursery. Sxb so I just naturally picked up the somali language. Some parents don't care and somehow think they will learn somali in adulthood. I get it as well. Most young people can barely speak somali.

this happens so much, if they actually put effort in teaching them the language im sure they would know it
