Being a Somali who knows Swahili is a big L sorry. Knowing them people youโ€™re not exactly gonna hear good stuff being said to you, now you have to walk the streets of Nairobi in shame when they say you stink in their language, or call you a terrorist.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss
Sorry that is ridiculous reason not to learn another language
Everybody should regional language
More languages you learn better for your brain wiring and you can solve problem easily and different ways.
Everybody should learn more languages

The same happens to the foreign country you live in and infact its cadans that call muslims names and create movies in hollywood to depict muslims as villians.

Swahili is a language originated from ethnic swahilis who are 100% muslims.
Swahili culture evolved from.the mix of arab, indian, somali and bantu cultures in the east coast of africa.
Its one of the youngest ethnicities in Eastern Africa.

He's a comedian and he's picking on the Somalis in that stand up comedy venue.
Laugh medicine (Churchill Show).
It's comedy and nothing more than that.

True in Kenyan contest
In Somalis all Kenyan are Swahili
Is like British calling all American Yanks
Whereas in the US only New Yorkers or East Coast are Yanks
If you call kenyans swahilis what about Tanzanians? They speak even better swahili than mainland Kenya and at times you also need dictionary to understand Tanzanians when they speak in Swahili.
Kenyan coastal speakers and Tanzanians speak the correct swahili language with grammer.

While Nairobian swahili is called sheng and is a mix of english and local venacular and at times very far away from swahili.
Then when you go beyond nairobi to the countryside then peope speak swahili with their local language accent like a nigeria who speaks in english.

Swahili is the official language in Tanzania and they teach swahili in school all the way to secondary school.
They teach all subjects in swahili.
While in kenya English is the official language with swahili being second, swahili is taught till secondary school but as a subject. While the rest of the subjects are taught in English.

Here is a somali of Tanzanian nationality, assistant minister for development in Tanzania he is called Bashi.I admire his fluency and oratory prowess in swahili.
I think he is Habar awal.

It's because Tanzanian Swahili is more polite and if you want something you have to say Tafadhali before but Kenyans will just say Nataka
