Yeah, it's mainly them and older generation of Somalis that carries traditional Somali names. As we've gotten more religious, especially since the turn of century, it's become more common with Islamic names.
Some even name their children regular Arabic names and assume that it's by default tied to Islam just because it's in Arabic. No wonder why people want a Somali cultural revolution
