mashaaAllah. i know tons of somalis who love shaykh shuraim iyoo shaykh sudais...lol
yeah his recitation is excellent, but i prefer shaykh ali hudhaifi when i need to learn because shaykh shuraim seems to read a bit faster.

Lol I knew it! When I lived in st. mountain georgia, surrounded by tons of my beautiful shiny forehead having somali beoble, they loved shaykh shuraim and sudais a lot. a lot loved hudhaifi too. just look at their youtube quran videos and there's tons of somalis saying things like ''waw mashaaAllah shaykh hudhaifi i lav you.''


i'll have to check out some of those other reciters inshaaAllah but when it comes to tajweed-shaykh hudhafy and shaykh husary are #1 for me.
