Mashallah She’s beautiful and well educated.

wallahi she is, and what she's touching on is amazing and has been felt by people of color for ages but never spoken up about

i remember me and my sister going to the doctors as our whole necks and backs tuned very dark cause of dark spells and hyperpigmentation, and the cadaan doctors looked confuse af, and said sorry you need to go to a dermatologist - skin doctors who most of the time charge LOADS of money, a consultation wouldve costed more than a dental check up. I dont like to bring up race much, but in this example its clear racial issues in medical field, if a white person with a red rash came in theyd be prescribed helle antiobitics and creams and not told to go to a specialist, as the doctors are trained in dealing with this. but the often poorer people of color need to go some special skin doctors, cause the regular ones aren't well equipped ? crazy.

alhamdullilah mine naturally faded, but took a while, and some expert help that didnt ask for thousands of dollars of treatment wouldve made the process of healing quicker
