I think an arms race isn't beneficial, the UN embargo was the greatest gift the world gave Somalia, limiting them to black market outdated shit with a low death toll. This shouldn't be escalated, it's an un winnable game cause if one clan escalates, every clan does, leading to an unwinnable never ending scenario but only the death toll increased. Australia is a shit hole? Well the countries with the best standard of living for its population are Nordic countries not America or Australia. But Australia vs America living standards, it's like day n night bro. Even what we call Australian ghetto is relative to Australian standards or what we call winter is relative to our climate standard.

Australian ghettos are like one or two towers in each suburb called public housing showing you how small our shithole population is. Where as in America half of every major cities look worse then New Delhi. Plus your crime rates are shocking and it's usually very severe also, where as here it's kiddy play compared to there.

Plus there isn't wide gap between unskilled n skilled workers in Australia financially where as there is in America. We also get way more govt privileges then America around core areas of universal health, yes you just take your Medicare card and it's all paid for thru our collective tax revenue.

Education is pretty top notch also as the world flee to come to study here paying premium prices as international students. Even universities are subsidized and regulated it's pricing by govt, a bachelor don't take longer then 3 to 4 years costing a whopping 25k compared to your 300k four year bachelor.

Plus Australia takes care of under age segment from baby to 18, 18 to 65 your on your own but their is safety nets in case U fall on tough times like universal basic income called welfare(no it's nothing like yours where U need to contribute or is time fixed, it's universal and isn't capped by time but can be indefinite). Plus they also force companies to pay 15% of ppl wages as additional income into any employed person retirement account.
