In my area, somalis built mosques and religious schools, opened secular private schools for their kids from elementary to high school that gratuate good students(most of these gratuates get scholarships for university). They have their own malls selling all things somali and have joined the state work force in greater numbers.
The only failure in our community comes from western born somalis.
