Forgive me Sxb, let us ask the Nazi English grammar professor Mr @Dalmoor if you've paid/payed any attention to spelling in school.

Why don't you comment on welfare? Sheikhs and the overwhelming majority of Muslims receive it, therefore, it is halal.

Bruv, I have a solid 4.0 in school at the moment; me incorrectly spelling one word on a forum page doesn't mean sh*t. I don't know what the Islamic consensus on welfare exactly is, so I won't comment on it. However, I do know that interest is haram and student loans involve interest. So by nature of 1+1=2, we can conclude that student loans are haram :)

If they are Haram, don’t take them. Case closed, but don’t preach others, if they are poor, they should avoid education if they are reliant on student loans. It sounds like god is punishing them for their poverty. Non-Salafi sheikhs don’t consider it to be haram.
As for welfare, if loans are haram, so it should be. Why take money-tax from haram businesses as charity/ceeyr? Haram is haram, right?

The Bank of England's dose of honesty

The truth is out: money is just an IOU, and the banks are rolling in it

they stated outright that most common assumptions of how banking works are simply wrong, and that the kind of populist, heterodox positions more ordinarily associated with groups such as Occupy Wall Streetare correct. In doing so, they have effectively thrown the entire theoretical basis for austerity out of the window.

To quote from its own initial summary: "Rather than banks receiving deposits when households save and then lending them out, bank lending creates deposits"

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/mar/18/truth-money-iou-bank-of-england-austerity

No need to pay your uhard earned by sweat and tears (promisery of notes) to the gov/bank - they created the money out of thin air.

A thief steals when he has nothing to sustain himself. I suppose desperation is desperation, but it's still haram and denying that is denying the truth.

Also, I've tried looking up anything that can back your claim that somehow welfare is haram. So far no luck. Would you mind citing me a cleric that somehow supports this narrative? I'm all ears :)

Commonsense Sxb, do you need a cleric to justify for everything you do, after all, most of these clerics (in diaspora) receive some sort of welfare assistance, do you think they will kill the goose that lays eggs for them?

Would you take employment as a dealer in a casino, no, this kind of a wage is haram. Work in alcohol production or sales, No, that wage is haram, become a bouncer in a strip joint or in a brothel, No, those wages are haram. Sell pork products, No, these wages are haram. Work in a bank selling interest rates, No, these wages are haram. You don’t want to earn a living in all these places because it involves haram. Right?

What makes the taxes these haram businesses pay that governments pays you as welfare, subsidised housing, free education Halal? Why not work in these haram businesses and make better wages instead of accepting their meagre charity as welfare? Does it make sense to you?

You're an apostate need I remind you. You don't fully understand and/or care what's haram and what's halal. Cite me an educated cleric who even vaguely echoes your thoughts even remotely and then I'll start listening. You reference the Islamic scholars when they suit your narrative, why you can't you do it now?

Don’t forget that I used to be a Salafi just like you and a Hafiz who paid so much attention to what the Salafi scholars said or wrote. I’ve reached the stage that you’re in now and all discussions and questions as absurd as they may sound like, ‘is oxygen halal in an atheist country like China’? I looked up to the opinions of the scholars. No wonder then, you are asking me the opinions of these scholars. Good luck Sxb.

All I got from this is that you have no evidence for welfare being haram.
