on the serious note there are atheists who do a lot of humanitarian work. a childhood friend of mine who is an athiest has been a paramedic for the past couple of years. he also does some volunteer work. when hurricane harvey hit houston, he volunteered to go help over there. awesome guy honestly. He has been training for the past couple of months, because he is interested in becoming a rescue swimmer for the coast guard. hopefully he accomplishes his goal.
besides my friend there are probably non believers who do a lot of great things but aren't public with their athiesm. because of not wanting to recieve backlash from people.

Atheist countries have let millions of Muslims who killed one another in their homeland into their countries for humanitarian reasons. A perfect example is us, Somalis. Every Somali clan and their warlords could be found in the western diaspora. We brought our clan divisions with us and turned Mosques, community & welfare Somali organisations into clan groups. Funds paid by atheist taxpayers to help the Somali “community” was misused for clan interests. These Somalis (Muslims) now tell us that atheists are morally bankrupt and they being Muslims are morally superior to them. I think that I live in parallel universe to them.

Convert him bro. How would you like to see him burning while your in paradise, what kind of friend are you?. Religion is no joke once death comes there's no forgiveness, we all heard the message as religion is popular worldwide so you can't deny what the angels write.Tell him to put his hand in hot water and if he can handle it then you will become atheist, then tell him to imagine the fire which is ten times hotter.

I have told him before if he ever considered converting to Islam hit me up or atleast one of our other friends. I'm not bothering him though. I was respect his beliefs. It's his choice. He has been in multiple debates about this stuff. He doesn't even start these debates sadly, once people find out he is an atheist they just start bothering the dude. I don't know how your gonna get someone to convert to your religion if the first thing you say to them is "do you know your going to hell".
He is happy with himself right now. If he converts than he should convert when he decides too. He has thought about religion for a very long time, right now he still atheist. If he converts later on than that would be awesome. But for now there isn't a need to bother the guy.
even though I'm not the most religious dude in the world I have tried converting to Islam. I even Brought him along to eat iftar dinner at my house a couple times, my mom was cool with it(she didn't know he was atheist though) .
