I'm not entirely convinced that this new Oromo led government is actually producing long-term change for women, call me a sceptic.

I see no women in leading roles but arguable they do not have the same restrictions as conservative islam.

He is half Oromo and half habesha, he is what Ethiopia needed, he is also Christian and liberal. He is bringing radical changes. In just few months he freed prisoners that were jailed for decades, made peace with Eritrea, lifted state of emergency and liberalized economy. United Ethiopia, economic prosperity, education and women’s rights are his top priority.
