Why would anyone recognize a militia? That's what the UN sees it as. It has no strategic value. LA needs to sit and wait for a poltical settlement for Somaliland as a whole, not try and chop off a city, kill POWS, beg for peace from neighbouring clans, beg for recognition from the government, join the opposition to the government, beg to be included in the opposition to the government.
