If @Mercury was talking about anything sexual, i would be the first to agree with you, but the thing is he wasn't.

Talking to a woman a certain way, being kind to them, helping them around the house ect, are things the Prophet S.A.W has already adviced us to do.

The prophet S.A.W even used to tell the Sahabas how they should talk to their wives. There are hadiths in which Aisha may Allah be pleased with her narrates all the sweet things the prophet used to do for her so that other men can learn from him. And you're saying encouraging men to be nice to their womemfolk is dayuus behaviour?

Merely talking about good treatment of spouses is not dayuus behaviour.

If a woman was to advice us on sspot all the things we should do for our husband, i know for a fact you would not kick up a fuss.

I like the hospitality in the Somali community and that we treat guests very well however why can’t we do the same to our wives kind words and thanking them make sure you appreciate the little things she does

It’s rare to see a Somali guy being kind to his wife around guests is what I’m saying

Like if she’s preparing food offering to help with something or preparing the table for the people whose gonna eat and later thank the wife for the food she’s cooked

Specially back home this is never seen In most Somali families Everybody eats and leaves a mess with all plates for the wife and daughters to take care off

Personally, i don't mind as long as my husband is helpful on a regular day when it is just us as a family.
