Until certain Puntite politcians and bussinessmen are brought to heel this IDP problem will not stop. They make money off of this and won't stop until a PL government cuts off that stream of revenue. Luckily a vast majority of these IDPs end up traveling to the Gulf however the ones who stay behind each year are having families and demanding politicial representation.

The Oromo deportations stopped because it became too expensive to do so, economically and politically. If PL was smart it would use certain people and profit off human trafficking these xoolos the way Cali Xuun did

There are certainly people profiting from these IDP camps whether it's Western NGO's who pocket all the money or politicians who love seeing more IDPs come in because they possibly get a cut of the stolen money.

The funniest thing is seeing people like @Balaayo who thinks his people are actually "winning" here, they're not. They're neglected in camps when they should be at home, building South-West State.

We owe these people nothing, but the fact we let them in and even end up helping them shows the kindness in our hearts.

There are also people from South-West State who think they will get "power" in Puntland if they send us thousands of their people but that's not how it works.

They will not get MPs in Puntland AND in South-West State and they will not be allowed to "double" vote.

So this agenda is just silly.

In fact, they are just sending manpower to build/develop Puntland whilst their own home area lags behind. Not to mention the taxes Puntland collects from their small business operators.

I'm talking about the kind set up in the Middle East/North Africa where people pay human traffickers to get them to Europe on a boat. Your thinking of the kind of human trafficking that involves sexual slavery and organ harvesting. Two different things. Its a win-win situation on both sides except for the Europeans in Europe.
