What is interesting about those Taforalt cavemen is that they were only a few generations (maybe as low as 5 generations) removed from the major E-M78 mutation. They were found very close to the TMRCA.

Current (subject to change with more people analyzed) TMRCA of E-M78 is 13,400 years ago.
Their lower carbon dating is 13,900 years ago.
