The toll is probably much higher, Somalia may reach herd immunity pretty soon as the virus spreads and the younger population helps negate the high death rate experienced in other countries.

Cause Covid-19 is like SARs, there is no evidence people gain meaningful immunity from Covid-19 after recovering from it. A lot of people got infected twice in South Korea.

You realize having immunity doesn’t mean you won’t get infected it just means you have higher chances of beating the virus next time you get infected since you have antibodies for the virus.

That is not immunity. The whole point of immunity is for it to prevent a second deadly infection not just fighting it. For example if you get Hepatitis A in your life you will never get it again in your entire life, that is how total immunity works as your body destroys it before it even becomes a problem. As the WHO published there is no evidence for coronavirus immunity so far.

Correcting you on your ignorance of believing Immunity= not being infected again. I also personally believe herd immunity will work for Covid-19 otherwise what’s the point of trying to find a vaccine for it if herd immunity doesn’t work?

The only ignorance I see here is someone thinking immunity = having a little tad more chance for survival , that is not how total immunity works. What you wanted to say was they might have a better survival rate and that is a big maybe since it is not proven so far.
