West Africans are very insecure about their hair. They seem to be the main region in Africa that wears wigs and doesn’t take care of their natural hair. There are exceptions like Chad women.

imagine sitting there and putting on fake hair just to look normal… audubilah. Their mothers failed at teaching them to love their own hair textures, only taught them how to hide it and damage it.

Meanwhile East African women know how to take care of their natural hair. You already know Horn African women have been deep in natural haircare since our existence. Bantu women in East Africa take care of their hair more and rock their natural hair more than West Africans.

NGL I hate it when people generalize Somalis to be slavers. There were a small amount of Enslaved people in the South and only certain Qaabils really partook in that.
