Walaal, passivity spoils the spirit. When I was 9, I was walking to my classroom when this guy in my class walked up to me and kissed my cheek. I didn't come in the next day but the day after. He walks up to me and asks why I didn't come in to school yesterday and I told him I felt sick bc of the kiss he gave me. He got angry and started harrasing and making fun of me non-stop and one time he pulled my hijab off infront of everyone in the lunch hall. I started crying because everyone could see me hair and I ended up leaving that school a few months after. But now, 8 years later...he's in my sixth form class (college to those americans) and I'm really uncomfortable around him, I'm not sure if he remembers me, but now I'm thinking of moving to another school bc of him but i also dont want to beacuse its the one i worked hard to get into. Should I stay or should I go?
You come across as a brave young lady.
Never wait for a foe to come for you, instead, you should take the fight to this chinless toerag.
Firstly, do tell your brothers. It is no bother to your brothers, for it is an onus upon them to protect you, and instead they will be cheesed off if they discover you have been bullied, and you did not tell them. (If in their shoes, I would be more pissed at you, had you kept it from me).
Secondly, strategise. For a few days, ask your brothers to drop you off, pick you up, or visit you for lunch, or bring you something at college. The idea is to be seen with them, for that by itself keeps the toerags away.
Suss out as to his hangouts, and on a day, when one of your brothers is visiting you, walk up to him, in public, stare him down, and say : 'do you remember me?. You bullied me in school, and I want to make sure you remember me. And I am coming for you' . Make sure you girls are with you. He will be humiliated, and with his cred being shot, he might retaliate, but then again, you will be ready for him. If escalated, it shall work to your benefit. It is better to face your foe at once than to suffer in silence, distress, and worse yet develop ulcer from stress.
Thirdly, always carry your pepper spray, or better yet, Mace pepper gun. I think you could buy them at your local Boots chemist, or Amazon.
And finally, remember you are not bullying him, but registering his misdeeds. and making it known. Godspeed!
