from the middle east i guess ? Because Sahelian arabs(Sudanese, Baggara ...) are even closer to Somalis than Fulanis due to their lower West african, higher East African and Arabian(related to the eurasian component Horn Africans carry).

Parts of the Somali Garre live in West Africa. So it is possibly the Fulani are genetically related to us. But for me, the Fulanis being overwhelmingly Muslims are what makes them much closer to us. They're Muslim brethren who share a continent with us.

They're genetically Berber + Niger-Congo mixes with maybe some Nilotic elements depending on the region. They even speak a Niger-Congo language. They're West-Africans through and through. They just resemble us cos, basally, we're like an eastern reflection of them in that we are what happens when prehistoric and ancient Egyptians and Arabians mix with Nilotic types. Both MENA + Madow mixes, basically. But their admixture is not as high as that of Horners and Sudanis nor is it as homogeneous. Some Fulanis barely have any admixture.
