I went to buy an item and the cashier added a tip to it and then gave me the card machine. I couldn't believe my eyes. Tips were never to be expected but now it's mandatory in restaurants which I never even go anymore because their food has become trash but now small business owners expect a tip and add the tip all by themselves.

I said never mind and walked out.

Why are tips allowed to be charged? Minimum wage is $14 and is heading to $15 but tips are becoming mandatory and its percentage is even increasing. It used to be 10% but now it's 18% and up to 33%. And now business owners have come out their begging tip bowls. Get lost.

I only use my credit card for all store/online purchases to get my end of the year rewards. I just got a little over $400 earlier this week. Never use cash. Only your credit card for the rewards.

The only situation now where I have to tip is my barber. I give him an extra $5. I never use Skip or Uber Eats or other related services but if I have to, I will never tip them. Delivery fees were already included. I'm not paying jack shit.

I usually pay cash for my haircuts but they do accept debit and credit as a payment option.

Only times I consistently tip is to madows, Somalis and my barber. It’s proven that niggas get shittier tips as workers and shittier service too because they expected not to tip as customers.
