That sucks. Especially considering the fact you guys are genetically closer to us than them.

Is there a deep resentment in South Sudan against the North? Or do you guys put blame on the government and not the people?

What my country did to your people is shameful. I hope one day, when the North is in a better place economically, the government pays reparations and sincerely apologises.

I don't have to. take a look at the interactions of madow men and women irl. that itself explains it. I personally believe that somalis are endanger of ending up like them in a few generations. May allah protect us from that predicament.

I'll be real with you; there is resentment towards both the Governments and the people, however, it's not as pronounced as it used to be for most South Sudanese.

I admit that I harbour some resentment; and it may not be altogether fair. I really don't like having these ugly feelings and would much rather let it all go.

You're a really good person for saying this, however, it wouldn't really be fair to expect the people of the North to pay reparations when they too have been thoroughly robbed by successive military dictatorships.

A good faith approach to annexed Southern territories is all we really need; land is sacred and once that has been resolved, we can be cousins again.
