The drunk Brits asked some random nomad high on khat to help them create the first official map of Somalia.

He wasn't aware of anything but the nicknames... doubt we ever had a competent sultan or king that realized that these names were a little bit inappropriate.

Lool the inhabitants of ceel dofaar take that name as disrespect. Its originally called ceel dhahar. They call it ceel dofaar because the Italian soldiers used to have a pig slaughter house there
