Back in 2014-2015 I recall hearing from a friend of mine that Afars and other minorities shouldn't have to vote since the Cisse's fought the French.
It's funny because most freedom fighters were Isaaq's, Arabs and Afars (the Pioneers were Afars and Arabs), while the Isaaq's had the biggest businesses in Djibouti (my family included).
It seems to me that the Cisse's are hypocrites for the majority.
