Somali people turn everything into clan system. They turned federalism into clan system and now they are moving to party system and turning that into clan system as well.
It is not the system it is the people. Nothing will work in Somalia because the people will hijack it and make it about clan.

The problem with federalism is the Somali cultural mentality, not federalism itself. There are other countries with homogenous and diverse populations that have succeeded (or seen better results) with the model. Same with dictatorships and democracies. We have tried all of this and on the whole the results have been very disappointing. The problem is Somalida but we like lying to ourselves so we point fingers elsewhere.
