I went to a couple meetings for fun, but a lot of Somalis I know take it serious lol

we are all aware we are black but not black American in THAT context but what are your thoughts on Somalis joining black student unions and pan African groups ?

Yes, but you don’t have to be black to join a black student union. It’s just that the groups purpose is around black related things.

Don’t judge someone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. In my line of work black guys get discriminated against a lot. It’s natural for them to discuss the issues they encounter or will.

As Somali men we are extremely lucky, we don’t face nearly the same amount of racism as other sub saharans, and we don’t face nearly as much islamaphobia as xalimos.
