Somalis should feel the utmost gratitude to Kenyans, who welcomed our people after we fled our savage nation. Kenyans gave us the opportunity to flourish and live in a peaceful nation for once. And what do they get in return? Somalis have the audacity to disrespect them, hate them, and have al-shabaab attack their citizens. I just wanted to take some time to thank Kenya for allowing my people to seek refuge in their blessed country. Some of us may be ungrateful, but a lot of us recognize how lucky we are to have them as our neighbors.
