In the USA, it's probably because other Arab restaurants are more numerous than Somali ones. Not to mention, other Arab cuisines from Yemen, Saudi, Oman & to a lesser extent Egypt and North Sudan are very similar to ours which is why so many Somalis dine at other Arab restaurants.

How many Arab restaurants are there vs Somalis restaurants? Everywhere I turn, I see a Lebanese restaurant somewhere it normally wouldn’t be central London is packed with them. Somali restaurants are not as common, or as nice IMO.

Nothing beats Somali food to get you full, I'm always going out and only finding halal Indian restaurants in my city, shit is supposed to be 4 stars and I make better food at home, Somali food I had in north London was amazing, we also went to an Ethiopian restaurant, I envy the UK for HOA food.
