Somalis misunderstand wealth

There’s a new habit where the Diaspora goes to Somalia then comes back saying “it’s fine they lie when asking for many everything is fine”. Wealth and poverty are measured by ability to withstand issues not just being able to eat from month to month. Let’s say a typhoon hits Mogadishu, how many people would be able to bounce back? How long? Not to mention the poorer people in badiyo and tuulo. Also factor in infrastructure, growth rate, wealth inequality. Why are people in denial about facts? Because you want on vacation and stayed in a hotel you suddenly can determine whether a country is successful or not?
