You see Dhaanto festivals in the diaspora. Somali traditional music is still being created, and I have yet to see a Somali creating a song in Arabic Scale or with heavy Middle Eastern influence.

Here's a modern rendition of a beautiful old Somali song with traditional instruments:

Somali is the majority language with Somali equivalents for every Arabic, Italian, and English loan word.

Somalis dress in Dirac, baati, macawiis, hoos guunti, guuntino etc++ whenever I'm at home I'm in my baati the whole time. Even old attire is being brought back e.g. Jubbad (mind you, this has been continuously worn, just not on a large scale e.g. by Somali Sufis and Sultans).

It's unlikely to happen. A lot of Somalis considering drawing haram, so I doubt we'll get this. I'd love to make one but even if we make one or two, I doubt there will ever be a real industry in it.
