Secularism is heresy and completely forbidden in Islam. The only system which is acceptable in Islam is the Shariah. Non-Muslims are free to live in our countries under our protection as long as they pay the Jizyah in a state of submission or if we have treaties/covenants with them.

Islamic shariah is different for many people. I don’t see any option for Somalia other than to follow a version for it but it would help if we could even define it.

Do you believe hudud should be practiced and be public? Do you believe we should be stoning people for extramarital affairs and have that in public?

Lately no country is doing that. Even Saudi and Iran. I assume Taliban have bright back public executions but I’m not aware yet. Too brutal for me personally to keep up with

I believe that whole of the Shariah should be implemented and not part of it. Zina is very hard to prove but if it’s certainly proven that someone engaged in Zina then the punishment should be applied upon them. If it was a married individual then stoning, an unmarried individual would be flogged.

Religion and state should be seperated.. Who wants to be controlled by a bunch of religious madmen with their strict sharia law interpretation... Of course culturally, spiritually and mentally we are all Muslims.. But sharia law can interpreted and manipulated by extremist groups and those making life hell for people and the country.

I agree.. Somalis should learn there's no point in flashing your religious affiliation around especially when you are living in an hostile environment.. It's best to be lowkey like the yahuud or indhoyars and go about your business.. This need for exposure and attention is rooted in jahilnimo.

Grow some balls guys, the adhaan is broadcasted out loud in majority Somali neighbourhoods. Americans can’t complain about the ” muh great replacement” because they have already replaced the native american population.

Being careful is a good thing but the fearmongering is nuts. Cadaans already tried to kill somalis and have done multiple hate crimes against minorities. Adhan is not going to make somalis a lesser target and somalis are not pushing Islam to cadaans. Just among themselves.

I suspect some of the comments are genuine while others are from people who are irreligious. A healthy amount of fear is needed to survive your environment but this level is unhealthy. If cadaan scare people that much, they should strengthen their iimaan in Allah.
