Freedom of religion is limited but permissible in Islam as long as they pay the Jizyah and live under our protection as Dhimmis according to Islamic law. America is a secular country whereas Somalia is a Muslim country and most Somalis want to be ruled by Islamic law. Those two countries are not even remotely comparable. Since America claims to be a “secular country with human rights” then they are obliged to live up to their ideals, we never claimed to be a “secular country with human rights” so we’re not obliged to live up to those ideals.
